woke up it 4:30 cant fall back to sleep, sucks. fun weekend overall. Friday went to shot clays in NJ with Stan, Neil, and Sean(from the taproom). Range was fun drove around in a golf cart to get to all the different stands.

Old eagle and taproom for the evening. work on saturday then time for the clown to come out. I love getting dressed up as the clown. Went to Chads party for a bit good times. Back over to the Taproom to find Levi and a few of his friends. Clown was out in full force.

sunday slept in then got some lunch with Al on main St. Sunday night sucked,I'm a idiot and its my fault bla bla bla wish i could sleep.......

Sorry i have not blogged in a bit, just been busy. But yeasterday was sooooooo fun! Hurricane Danielle was in town and i made sweet sweet love to her! Stopped by Dave Lowes house for a beer and a good laugh after work yesterday. Decided to rollover on bikes to see Faith no More at the Mann.

Nose Bleed seats outside the fence where F R E E!!!. Great view of the city from up there.

We could see 3 sets of fireworks going off all the way over to NJ.

Hard to see her but hot chick in camo pants dancing all over.

George rocking out!! We have a few friend who work at the Mann so we stopped by to say hi. Debs office is basically under the stage. Pretty funny hearing part of the show from under they. Ride home was soo nice. I will be riding my bike over to see more shows at the Mann!

Sorry to be so negative lately but just been down. Yesterday started so nice. Saw my Mom for coffee. I love seeing her. Work is hectic and then my crazy eye started to bother me along with other work stuff and i just hit the wall

Got down for a surf Easter morning. Whit, myself and our buddy Jamie who is fresh in from Hawaii. He just moved back and this was his first time in the Atlantic in 3years! 48 degree water was a little shock to him but nothing a good wetsuit couldn't take care of. Few picks for ya.

Yesterday was great first went for a road ride with Sesn and Todd nice pace beautiful morning. Had coffee after lots of hot girls on main st. Next up a MTB ride with Al. Saw EJ out it was his bday. MTB ride was really fun. Got a pinch flat on a big pointy rock. After riding went to Main St for lunch. Manayunk Tavern has good food and Nugget Nector from Troggs. MMMM... Soo just like The Birthday Sessions we(bill,whit,myself, and who ever we can get to go) try to do Thanksgiving Day surf. Do you know how much better turkey and stuffing(mmmmm stuffing) taste after a good surf session? Surf was smaller then it was yesterday( yep 2 days in a row!) but a lot cleaner. Waist with a few chest high sets roll'n through. Soooo fun surfed for about 3hr and i can feel it in my arms. Now off to my sisters house for that stuffing!!

Once again I'm going to have to recap. Ill start with the most currant and work back.

Got the call last night from Bill that the surf was going to be fun this morning and not having to work today made that even better. Left the house at 4:59. I cant believe i have seen 4am in the time twice this week. Got to OC meet Bill at 3rd st and got in the water about 6:15. Super fun waves in the waist to chest high range. Once we got settled in it was wave after wave. Lots of head-dipping was going on(not quite a barrel but close). Super fun!! Stopped to grab a coffee and got a pumpkin cookie and took a ride to the north end to chill and watch some waves. The cookie was amazing! All and all soooo fun.

Went to see The Jesus Lizard on Wednesday night. David Yow look like a train wreck but put on a kick ass show. Full of energy jumping in the crowd calling people ass hols it was fing great. I didn't get any good pics but here are a few. Sorry you had to miss it Dlow you were missed.

It has been a long time between post so I'm going to recap a bit. Here we go. I'm going to start with the most recent and work backwards.

1) got my car back finally. It looks good, just a little shinier on the driver side. just good to have it back.

2) I got a short board for $40.00 off one of my buddy's. I'll give it a try soon.

3)Went to Pearl Jam for the last show at the Spectrum. A friend of the shop could not go so he GAVE me the tickets. I took George and it was F-ING AWESOME. They played for about 3 1/2 hours. Here is the set list from that night.

Well Bill and I took the drive up to NH last night in search of some good surf. Drive was long and it didn't help that i was feeling like crap. We had a close call with runnig out of gas because we where both zoneing out but found one in time. Got here around 3am and got right to bed. Went to Lupos for breakfast it was good. Funny place restarunt with a bar. Bar was pretty full for it being 10am. Just waiting for the surf to come up. Ill update as we go.

The Birthday Sessions

The Birthday Sessions are a thing my buddy Bill(I'm sure you know him from older posts) and I try to do every year. Our bdays fall a few days apart his today the 21st and mine the 24th so we make it a point have a birthday session. I think we be doing it since 2001. Any way its always a good time and yesterday was no exception. Surf was super fun in waist high range with maybe a chest high set once in awhile. So many waves where had. Bilbos fiance Kate was killing it her wave count was up there. Billbo what can i say STYLE FO MILES!!! I got my fair share and had a sweet little cover up on my last wave of the first session.

Kate had planned a suprize party at Mack n Mancos some of the finest board walk pizza out there. A bunch of family and friends came out. It was awesome and Bill was totally surprised. Props to Kate for putting it together.

Round 2- Our buddy Kenny drove up from Wildwood for the second session. Wind was still pretty calm but the tide was way low. Made for some low tide dredgers. Still had a great time just hang'n out goofing off. Oh time to go.

Here are some pics from my day. Very fun got to hangout with Laney and Bill for a while at the beach. Some fun surf was had. Bill as always was killing it and Laney was looking good(see bikini shot below) paddling into a few bombs that came through. Had breakfast at Rojo's. If you have not been there GO NOW!! Food SOOOOOOO GOOD! The Country music was a little weird today but whatever.

Took a walk up on the boardwalk for some skee ball and air hockey and a little people watching(one of my fav things to do). I was disappointed in the skee ball it didn't give out tickets. how am i supposed to get prizes with out tickets? Next up a heated match up on the air hockey table. Laney was taking Bill to school until the Bill made a amazing come back. I think it ended up being 8 to 7 Bill.

Hung out on the boards to realize there are a a lot of ugly people in OC NJ. I need to find a spot with better looking folk.

Dropped Bill off at his place then over to Margate where Laney is staying for the night. Good times!

My buddy Jason was flying in from Hawaii today and we had perfect timing. He called me just as I got to the BF bridge. Right to the airport to grab him then a stop at my Mom n Dads house to say hi.

Took J to a Delco staple, Charlies Hamburgers for some of the best burgers you will ever have.

Got back down to the beach yesterday to meet up with Bill(my buddy) and Bill(Hurricane) and got some FUN surf! Once again it was a 5:00am wake up call that I will only do for the surf. Got down to O.C. NJ about 6:30.

We went and checked the north end of OC and ended up on a street i have never been on with this cool house painted pink to look like a light house(see pic) Crazy! Checked a few spots in OC to find mostly close outs. Wind was still calm so we headed to Strathmere.

If you don't know Strathmere it sits between OC and Sea Isle City. My dad use to take me fishing there when I was a kid he always called it Whale Beach.

Surf was much cleaner here. current was ripping on the inside and it took a bit to get out. Some times its just better to let the rip take you a bit then as soon as you see a break PADDLE YOUR ASS OFF! Took a little bit to find my groove but once we settled in it was on. Bill rode his longboard in some bigger stuff for the first time and looked as graceful as ever. He's a very relaxed and styli'n surfer. Surfed for long time and both got some great waves. Got out and started the walk to the car and got attacked buy all the Greenheads. Greenheads are those horse flys that bite. It was funny to see us both swatting away and running up the beach with our boards.

Checked a few spots on the way back to OC before we got something to eat. All looked about the same. SUPER CROWED and pretty fun. Got to Bills where he made me a nice sandwich that looked like Mom made it. It was awesome.

This is starting to get a little long winded so ill finish up. Surfed 8th st for about an hour only to find out its not a surfing beach. Guard was cool he was going crazy trying to watch all the tourist. Got some really fun fast lefts and and watched Bill kill it on his longboard. SUPER FUN DAY!!

Hurricane Bill

Got up at butt crack early today(that's 5:00am) to see the first signs of Hurricane Bill. Drive down was quick meet with my real buddy bill to see the winds where not the best. Blowing out the south is not ideal so bill and i just had coffee. Dropped bill off and thought what the hell i drove down here and its only 7am at this point so i headed to the north end of OC NJ to give a look. Wind was on it but not to bad. Hell I'm goin' in. FUN STUFF got a bunch of kind of sloppy but ok surf. Stopped at the Pint Diner hoping to meet the Point Grinder but just got a breakfast burrito instead. Fun Day Cant wait till Sunday. Should be BIG! Hope the wind will cooperate.

What up. good weekend. Got to the beach on Sunday morning to surf with my good friend bill. Waist high with a little bump to it.
